The Charles T. ‘Chuck’ Mathena II Foundation, Inc. was established in 1992 after the tragic loss of an exceptional individual.  While the Foundation’s original intention was to award scholarships to artistically driven students, the vision soon expanded into one of bringing cultural education to the entire community.  The Chuck Mathena Center opened its doors in July, 2008, and to date has welcomed visitors from 22 states and 9 countries.
