J.R. Shuck has been painting for 40+ years and has literally thousands of paintings to his credit.  He has received many corporate commissions including retiring company executives, attorneys, judges and portraits of just plain working people (such as himself).  J.R. feels that there is no better honor to bestow upon a person than to present them with a formal canvas painting commemorating a life.
