Aleta Cortes

Aleta Cortes recieved her degree from Temple University in Fine Arts/Painting. For the past ten years she has been working solely with photography, using the camera as another tool to paint with.

The photographs in this show are part of a four year series taken at local car shows. They reflect a multifaceted layering of color., light and form surrounding one and converging into the forefront surface. An almost magical display of element and suprise develop in a dimensional play of time and space.
